Student Comments, continued

These comments were collected after students completed the Teach One to Lead One® program:
I take a lot more care of my community and I am now more of a leader, not a follower.
I made an effort to be more considerate of others and take responsibility for my actions.
Teamwork discussions helped me because it showed me with facts that if I work as a team I can do things faster and they are going to seem easier.
I have gotten much better about my procrastination; without this program I would have never thought to do anything about it.
I have tried to put forth a better effort and give 110% in everything I do.
To see more of the raw testimonial data from the students, go on to the Post-Program Student Evaluations page.

About midway through the program, students are encouraged to draft a personal Mission Statement. Look where these kids see themselves 5, 10, or 15 years from now:

I want to be remembered for being a humble person who is a positive influence on myself and others. --Sydney

I wanna be a famous rapper and be able to give poor people money. I want everybody to remember me by my name. I wanna be successful and everything I do and leave people with some positive things to do. And I wanna be remembered as a good and positive person. --Isiah
