"Take Stock in Youth" Campaign
As an individual investor, when you give $25 per month (pledging for a year), or $300 per year, you are enabling one more student to participate in Teach One to Lead OneĀ® (T1L1). As our way of thanking you for joining our "Take Stock in Youth" Campaign, we will send you:

  • A personalized "Stock" Certificate, suitable for framing, that indicates your pledge or gift.
  • Helpful information about T1L1 and your investment in youth.

Classroom

Would you take on the challenge of sponsoring an entire T1L1 classroom? For $4,500, you are influencing many families by bringing T1L1 to about 30 kids for a semester--often in places that are new to the T1L1 philosophy. Take on the challenge yourself, or talk to your church, club or civic organization to become a life-changing Classroom Sponsor! And in the meantime, let us know of your intentions so we can prepare any materials you may need to share the vision of T1L1 with your group, and so we can acknowledge your gift in a special way. Click here, or just call 1-877-529-7711, extension 24, for details.

Donate Specific Items

We are by no means a place to drop off clothing or donate your used car, but we do have specific needs that you may want to fulfill. What a blessing that would be--for us and for you as you sacrificially give an item listed here (check back often--we're updating this list all the time). Click on the link by each request to contact the CLI staff person making the request.

  • Flash Drives (1 meg minimum). Need 2-3. Contact Wesley Pals, GA.
  • Sack Lunch Fixings for the homeless (T1L1 in Cherokee County, GA needs meat, bread, snack foods, zip lock bags, etc). It's part of the service project on November 3rd. Contact Wesley Pals, GA.
  • Cleaning Supplies for youth to use during service projects. Need Pinesol, Clorox cleaner with bleach, sponges, rags, toilet brushes, rubber gloves, buckets, etc. Contact Wesley Pals, GA.
  • Refreshments for T1L1 Graduation Ceremonies. Need soft drinks, pizza, cake, paper plates, plasticware, etc. Contact Wesley Pals, GA.

Expansion

At CLI, our work never stops! We are aggressively working with public school systems to expand our exciting leadership and character development philosophy to new areas. We also go to juvenile courts and work with kids who have already made the wrong choices. We hold seminars for teens who need to be given a vision for their lives. And we train the adults who work with young people. Because we are growing at an astounding rate, we need your encouragement and support more than ever. We invite you to partner with us and make a positive difference, one kid at a time!

Statements

All investors will receive a written acknowledgement of contribution. These are mailed out by January 31 of the year following the date of the contribution. The acknowledgement will include the investor’s name, annual total of their contribution, and if applicable, a statement to the effect that no goods or services were provided by CLI in return for the contribution. For more information on IRS publications regarding tax-deductible charitable contributions, please visit http://www.irs.gov/eo.
